Notre Dame de Namur University Scores High in School Environment in Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education 2020 College Rankings
Campus gets high marks for diversity and inclusion

Belmont, Calif.—Notre Dame de Namur University’s efforts to build a diverse and inclusive educational experience were recognized in the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings 2020, which scored the university 38th overall for school environment (a section of the rankings that includes student and faculty diversity, and student inclusion).
Out of 801 universities surveyed, the 38th place ranking puts NDNU in the top 5% nationally for school environment.
“These rankings underline our leadership nationally and regionally in recruiting a diverse student body and faculty,” said President Judith Maxwell Greig. “Our university is doing our part in creating a diverse workforce for Silicon Valley and the greater San Francisco Bay Area.”

Notre Dame de Namur University was the first college in California authorized to grant the baccalaureate degree to women.
