Service Request Procedures
Marketing Services Requests:
To ensure cohesiveness, full team visibility, and trackability; Marketing requires all marketing service requests to be submitted through our Marketing Service Request form.
Through this link, you can provide Marcom with information regarding your requests, including:
- Task/project service requested
- Project details
- Desired delivery date
- Contact details
- The ability to attach support documents (as needed).
Please bookmark the link above to the Marketing Services Request form in your web browser so you can easily access it when needed.
Connecting with Us:
- Once a request is sent, the individual will be emailed by a member of the Marcom team within 24 – 48 business hours to discuss further details (if needed) and to clarify when Marcom will complete the request.
- Marcom will clarify any additional deliverables that are required by the requestor to complete the request and mutually agree on the project timelines based on receiving any required outstanding deliverables.
- For larger projects, scoping the task/project may involve other Marcom team members or external resources, which could extend the delivery or project scope.
Event Promotion Requests:
- For events, please state if the event is intended for the internal campus community or for external audiences and whether it’s to be in-person, online, or both.
- Internal campus community events should be handled by the department that is hosting the event unless there are any special circumstances.
- Clarify any A/V support and/or recording requirements.
- In order to properly promote an external audience event, Marcom requests the submission for any event-related support services be completed no later than 60-days prior to the event date.
- For all events, the requestor is directly responsible for any catering, event space booking, and/or logistical services related to the event.
Event Space Request:
- To reserve event space please complete the request form on Facilitron.
Important Notes:
- All requests must include clear desired deadlines and be submitted using the Marketing Services Request form. Do not email Marcom staff directly with requests.
- Without sufficient lead time, some requests may be delayed due to other projects that have priority over last-minute requests.
By following these procedures, Marcom aims to streamline the marketing request process to ensure an effective collaboration between the Marcom Department and other university departments.

Marketing, Recruiting & Advertising
NDNU maintains policies that reflect program integrity requirements consistent with regulations issued by the Department of Education (34 C.F.R 668.71-668.75 and 668.14) related to restrictions on misrepresentation, recruitment, and payment of incentive compensation. This applies to NDNU itself and its agents, including third-party lead generators, marketing firms, or companies that own or operate the educational institution. As part of efforts to eliminate unfair, deceptive, and abusive marketing practices, NDNU will:
- Ban inducements, including any gratuity, favor, discount, entertainment, hospitality, loan, transportation, lodging, meals, or other item having a monetary value of more than a de minimis [defined as “an insignificant amount”] to any individual or entity, or its agents including third-party lead generators or marketing firms other than salaries paid to employees or fees paid to contractors in conformity with all applicable laws for the purpose of securing enrollments. Educational institution-sponsored scholarships or grants and tuition reductions available to all students are permissible.
- Refrain from providing any commission, bonus, or other incentive payment based directly or indirectly on securing enrollments or federal financial aid (including TA funds) to any persons or entities engaged in any student recruiting, admission activities, or making decisions regarding the award of student financial assistance.
