E3@NDNU provides the PPOHA grant scholarships and funding of service initiatives to assist Educate, Empower, and Engage graduate students at NDNU.
PPOHA Scholarship recipients will receive up to $5,000 per student, per year. While this grant is intended for Hispanic students, we invite all students needing financial assistance to apply for the PPOHA scholarship. Funds can be used for anything the scholarship recipient needs to successfully graduate at NDNU. International students are not eligible for scholarships provided by the PPOHA grant.
Eligibility:
- Scholarship applicants must be graduate students enrolled at NDNU.
- Students from all disciplines and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Financial need will be taken into consideration during the selection process.

PPOHA Grant Application
Deadline: The application for the PPOHA Scholarship will remain open until funds are exhausted. Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible to ensure consideration for this valuable scholarship opportunity.
Selection Process: Applications will be reviewed by a committee of NDNU faculty and staff. Recipients will be selected based on academic merit, financial need, and the quality of the submitted essay.
Essays will be scored on the criteria of following directions; organization and grammar; content development and understanding of NDNU’s mission; and demonstrated financial need.
Qualifications: The PPOHA grant supports low-income postbaccalaureate students including outreach, academic support, services, mentoring, scholarships, fellowships, and other financial assistance to permit the enrollment of such students in postbaccalaureate certificate and postbaccalaureate degree granting programs.
