Provost Diana Demetrulias, Ph.D.
Dr. Demetrulias came to NDNU in August 2010 from California State University, Stanislaus, where she served as vice provost and associate vice president for assessment and quality assurance. As vice provost, she led the successful reaccreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and established the Office of Service Learning. Dr. Demetrulias also held the positions of Dean of the Graduate School and Founding Dean of the School of Education at CSU Stanislaus.
Before coming to California, Dr. Demetrulias was a faculty member and department chair at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. She has conducted research related to all levels of education, has vast experience with funded grants and has written numerous literary and oral history publications. She has her doctorate and master’s from Ball State University, Indiana, and holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
