Resident Assistants (RAs)
Resident Assistants (RAs) are the most visible members of the residence life team. They are full time graduate and undergraduate students who live with the residents across all of our residential communities. RAs are trained leaders who can respond to various situations that arise in a group living environment. RAs are community developers who: advise and counsel students, plan programs, enforce university policies, serve on duty, help students solve problems and connect them to campus resources, assist in emergencies and most importantly, promote the well-being of each individual student as well as the community.
NDNU has a live-on requirement for all first and second year students. To apply for an exemption, you must complete and submit the Housing Exemption Form. If approved, or if you are an upper-class students looking to live off-campus, we suggest you check San Mateo County Housing Search for housing options.
