Nia Nicole Mayers

Nia Mayers Franklin, known professionally as Ms. Mayers, is a school psychologist and educator with over 20 years of experience, including eight as a school psychologist. She provides psychoeducational assessments in CA, MI, AZ, and NM, supporting students with diverse needs. Ms. Mayers teaches Psychological Assessment, Cognitive Psychology, and Community Engagement at Notre Dame de Namur University. She is committed to culturally responsive practices and empowering families. For the past four years, she has served as Chair of the Education Committee for her neighborhood council. A proud mother of two and aspiring pilot. She is passionate about equity and inclusion in education.
