From offer to login

The steps between "I accept" and "I have a login." Most of this is HR's process rather than yours, but knowing the sequence can be helpful.

  1. Accept your offer from your School Dean. This begins the hiring process. Your Dean also identifies your program and your Program Director, the person who will assign your courses and answer most day-to-day questions.
  2. Complete HR onboarding. Human Resources handles your paperwork, payroll setup, and benefits enrollment. Reach them at hr@ndnu.edu. HR is located in Toso Residence Namur.
  3. Read the Employee Handbook. Policies, benefits, and expectations that apply across the institution. Employee Handbook (PDF).

Your accounts start here. Your Dean or Program Director initiates account creation once hiring is complete, and OIT does the technical work. If you are days from your first class with no login, that’s the thread to pull. Start with your Program Director and copy helpdesk2@ndnu.edu.
